Dune belt

For nature lovers, the Dune Belt with more than 3000 hectares of heathland and forest landscape is a fantastic place. Discover the rich fauna and flora that lurks here during a cycling or walking tour. Camping Zavelbos is the starting point of the walking route 'Gruitroderbos'.

The Dune Belt is accessible to walkers, cyclists and horse riders. There are separate networks available for each.

You can walk for hours in this beautiful area. With more than 150km of routes you will not be bored for a moment. Tourist maps can be purchased at the reception points and tourist offices.
